The Role

While this role’s primary responsibility is that of a full-time regional home daily driver responsible for the transport of materials to and from vendors and customers, it also includes a number of duties within the Logistics team. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support the organization.

Essential Functions

• OTR regional truck driver
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Operates lift truck with certification
• Ability to operate manual pallet jacks within and outside of the confines of a box trailer or truck
• Must review, acknowledge and follow the Company Safety Policy including Safety Glasses and Steel Toed Shoes
• Ability to flex hours to meet the needs of the business
• Other duties assigned due to the need of the business

Physical/Environmental Requirements

• Manufacturing environments: may be exposed to loud noises and machinery with moving parts within the company, vendor and customer pick-up and delivery sites
• Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing or sitting for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs or ladders and lifting up to 50lbs occasionally

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

• Must have and maintain Class A CDL
• Minimum of 1-year verifiable truck driving experience
