Job Summary:
We are seeking a Machinist I to join our team. The Machinist I will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with various materials to create parts according to specifications.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints
- Knowledge of machine shop mathematics
- Ability to use precision tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

-Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece
- Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times
